The Jenifols x MAGUEN 11:11

 Few weeks ago, The Jenifols had the pleasure to attend, and dj at the launch of the new spanish label MAGUEN 11:11. Loads of our mates came to give their support at the event that was held at their brand new shop which is based in barrio Salamanca,Madrid. The store has an exquisite decoration that tries to transport costumers to the big apple. The menswear collection is inspired in the characteristic style that you often see while taking a walk around the Upper East Side, the Hamptons or the West Village. The whole concept comes from the creative director of the label, Gala Canut, which perception of her time living and studying in New York has been a big influence for the brand with also very affordable prices! And for those wondering, yes! we did spend quite a while talking about how awkward is for both to have such an unsual name  both working in the same industry, and we got to the conclusion that Gala seems to be a great name to have! ha ha ha. We had a great time, and now if you pass by Madrid and wonder where to find a bit of the "other side" you cannot forget to stop by c/Velazquez 26! (Special thanks to Fidel!)

I'm wearing dress and bag by Chanel, shoes limited edition Davidelfin for Louboutin.

Last january we were asked to be part of the biggest calendar of our mother country, the Larios calendar which is one of those things that everyone loves being part of ... This year Larios decided to swap the calendar pictures for digital videos.. under Lois and Ivan's direction we filmed in London our short movie who was presented under the month of February. Also, the past 21st of February we went to La Casa de Vacas, in Madrid to attend the premier of all the short movies of this year's Larios calendar and to enjoy the great after party which is aways held right after Madrid fashion week and that we already regulars to. I got to wear for the very first time a whole Chanel outfit, and you guys know how restricted the Chanel house is when they lend stuff to people...so I felt thrilled and honoured when Paris approved me to wear their label..(dreams come true!). The thing is... I always try to be truthful to my own style and the last thing I ever want to is to end up showing too much flesh or looking tacky, so i choose a classic little tweed LBD...because, less is always more, and legs are always a winner! To give it that special touch I paired the dress with a gorgeous pair of Louboutin shoes by Davidelfin, result? We danced, laughed with our friends and enjoyed great G&T's!!!! Here is a little interview I did for the occasion for VOGUE spain.

Marie Claire AUSTRALIA

If i'm proud and happy of something i've discovered during the past months is of having such great friends like my aussie mates! I truly miss them ..but now that I have Rachel here with me I feel i have a bit of Sydney here with me (he he h ehe). Last september I shoot this editorial for australian Marie Claire, where I got to play and mix&match my own outfits for the magazine... it was a hot sumer day and I've just landed from Auckland... this is the result in their latest april Issue.. :)

SPFW diary.2

 

This is the last set of my fashion diaries from Sao Paulo fashion week last February. I had an incredible time...as i've mentioned in part 1. Meeting Constanza Pascolato, one of brazil's fashion and biggest icons was a total pleasure...wish there was more women like her! The things i've enjoyed the most have been hanging at bar Secreto with Bruno Noveli, my friend and super talented painter. Attending Maria Bonita's show..which was one of my favourite ones...being looked after by the amazing team of F*Hits...getting vip treatment at the best hair salon in town, with the honour of getting the chop by the amazing Marcos Proenca himself!(honestly! you have to try his treatments..he's one of the best hair stylist i've ever had the pleasure to meet)... Getting pampered and loved by the best girls in town, Helena Linhares and Caca Garcia at Pelu's new collection launch....to end up going nuts at Bain Hotel 33, the latest line from Adriana Degreas buying millions of brazilian bikinis...And a big THANKS to Hotel Emiliano..who hosted me while i stayed in Sao Paulo...
