Armani opening in Barcelona

Last thursday 20th of October I went back to my lovely Barcelona to attend as a vip guest, the Armani event. It was the new opening of their flagship store in Passeig de Gracia and me and my mates gathered together at Alma hotel (I got to stay in on of the most amazing suites ever...) We had our make up done by the Armani make up artists team (Remind me I must write a proper make-up post as I´m absolutely besoted after I´ve tried the Armani make up range..Just out of this world!!!) and to also have our hair done by the L´Oreal team...an absolute pampering day to remember. At the store were also many of my regular spanish fashion-scene mates, I got to catch up with bloggers like the beautiful Silvia from LadyAddict or even bump into Harper´s Bazaar Spain editor in chief Melania (picture below). Violet was performing live at the event (were I saw George and Pixie,who was performing). After that, we all headed to a secret spot to have dinner and continue the party. I wanted to thank all the Globally team for being so nice and looking after us so well and the Armani team who made me feel so special.

Goldie a/w 2011

Last may I was asked by my friend Michelle Goldie to style and work with her doing the creative direction for her latest a/w 2011 collection, in order to show and share with the world her new designs which have a 70s inspired feeling, but where you can still find those preppy dresses from Goldie London that we all love so much! Here´s the result of a gorgeous day out in north east London were we shoot the campaign. It was a pleasure to work once again with my dear friend the super talented Saga Sig who was in charge of shooting the campaign.

After the Armani event in Barcelona last thursday i headed back home (England) to spend one of the best weekends down the english countryside, in a very long time, no phones or internet...it was so refreshing! I have now in my life everything I need. And  feels like if I was literally glowing... of happiness of course! :)
This picture belongs to the photo diary I shoot with New York based english photographer Bill Gentle from Blackyard Bill. Each day during NYFW Bill will hunt me down in Manhattan or Brooklyn to snap me in the clothes I was wearing and then he'll post them on the GQ usa site among other 4 cool peeps. And this was the result... :).

Look of the Day.135: Dior party - Madrid

Back in Madrid for a few good reasons, shootings, work and events like the one I went to yesterday, the Dior party here in Madrid with Mirandita who rocked a gorgeous Nobody Knows pink bag by Pelayo Diaz and a Lydia Delgado's dress. Like always..surrounded by friends and collegues. I chose this amazing dress by Roberto Torretta(remember that I've attended his show during Madrid Fashion Week!) which I falled in love with since the very first time i layed my eyes on it... The best surprise of the day? When I discovered that I made to to the best dressed of the night and was featured on the main page of Spanish Vogue! well..that's some kind of big news!! Yayyyy! I'd like to thank Maria Torretta for helping me with this and believing i could actually pull if off specially after Carmen Kass wore it for their show!

PS. You probably know this if you follow me on Twitter but for the rest, you have by now noticed my hair is much shorter. Had it chopped last week at  Salon44 by the best of the bests:  Xavi Garcia. I decided to get rid of the endless hair but not do the overdone bob so i went back to the hairstyle i was sporting aged 13,which isn't long but short either! This length is much wearable and still wanted to keep it a bit messy rock-and-roller-hippie.
