During 2010-2011 I met some wonderful people, like my aussie friend Rachel. We spent last christmas together, we sunbathed down on Sydney's Harbour and drank as many mojitos as we could, crashed New York during fashion week, invented the "shhh" lingo and celebrated the beginning of a new year together. She totally rocks! So when at the beginning of last year she told me she was moving to London, I just couldn't of been more happy! Unfortunately my happiness didn't last as long as I wished for as my half sister had to return to the golden land because she is amongst Sue Anne, her partner in fashion crime, the woman behind one of my ultimate favourite label crushes: Style Stalker. As a fashion lover you are probably familiar with the name too, after seeing tons of celebs wearing it all around the globe. Well, she's arriving to my place in a matter of minutes to enjoy some quality time with me, and do some serious catch up, because Rachel is back in town ladies and gentlemen and I'm supadupa happy about it. That's just why I couldn't help but to share with you a sneak preview of Style Stalker's latest collection which is cooler than ever cos the australian "Venice Beach" is arriving to your homes and I have already placed my order!

LV Rome Etoile Maison: THE EVENT

For the past few days, everyone has been talking about the event of the year. This weekend has been INSANE...from the moment I stepped into my room at the gorgeous hotel Hassler in Rome, the privately chauffeured tour of the city (with my LV City Guide of Rome!)), the endless dinners and lunches enjoying the best italian food in town, right to the night where I felt like a white diamond in my gown! It has been magical. We first hand discovered the new Rome Etoile store, which was the main purpose why I came over to Rome, and found out that it actually used to be one of the oldest cinemas in the city. Today it still shows movies inside the store with a monthly programme. The same evening after some pampering and a make up session at the Hassler, we walked the red carpet amongst celebs such as Ana Dello Russo, Natalia Vodianova, Cate Blanchett and many more... and after some delicious champagne we left again to join the rest of the guests at the after party, and what a party! I danced 'til my feet stopped...I want to thank everyone at Louis Vuitton for an outstanding event and for looking after us so well. Special thanks to: Adriana, Alessio, Francesca and the rest of the team! ( currently, still recovering from the pasta OD).

Rome, 27th January 2012.

Louis Vuitton invited me to attend the opening of their new Etoile Maison flagship store in Rome . Personalities such as the gorgeous Cate Blanchett (whom I arrived with on the same plane to the italian city the previous day) and the always smiling Natalia Vodianova were amongst the guests who attended the event. After cocktails in the store (see pictures below) we all headed to the after party. It was an absolute gorgeous night with the best of company! I wanted to personally thank everyone from Louis Vuitton, for inviting me to share such a great night and a wonderful few days in Rome! (I will soon update all the images from my weekend in Rome). I've landed in London just a few hours ago, and I can still remember the taste of the carbonara spaghetti I was enjoying this afternoon in Rome. I had the best time in a long time... Rome has truly conquered me, like no other city in Italy so far! MilanFW: Menswear Highlights f/w 2012-2013

I've spent the past few days running around Milan once again, this time was the boys turn! It is total visual pleasure to find, every 3 seconds in every corner of the italian city, beautiful faces holding onto their "books" and going from one casting to another, or outside the shows. But for me, what I enjoy the most is to see all those faces on the catwalk doing what they do best. The current Milan fall winter menswear 2012-2013 has shown me so many different things, the trend so far? Get out the velvet once again, because it's back! And here are my favourite images from the shows that I had the pleasure to attend: Diesel Black Gold , first ever menswear show for the new line created by Diesel. I did not know what to expect and I was literally thrilled, it was indeed very Diesel and at the same time mixed with fine tailored cuts and trendy hype shapes which made those indie boys look smart but with the "Diesel look". For me it was an absolute 10 out of 10 with Stephen Dorff sitting on their front row (if you haven't seen Somewhere, is time for you to do it ASAP). Z Zegna was a classic one, a new touch added with their new creative director, but never forgetting their clean tailoring. The gossip? To see Jeremy Young, fellow britton, smashing the catwalk once again. Apologies to those who couldn't enjoy the show as much as I did due to the gigantic hat I was wearing while seated front row, blocking the view of many others behind me.Truly sorry! Not much to add to the Dolce boys who always throw the best shows apart from missing some familiar faces who didn't show up this season (I missed you buddy, wink wink!). Truly enjoyed Prada 's models casting which included the Oscar winner Adrien Brody ...brilliant! To top it up, let's not forget one of my favourite collections... mainly because I loved the indian inspiration of Frankie Morello 's show but the naked man at the end of the show was without a doubt something I didn't want to miss, ha! NEXT TIME we demand Ryan Gosling on the catwalk! And this is just the beginning of the new season of fashion weeks! Woohooooo!

Been in Milan for the past few days attending some wonderful shows. Must say I've been enjoying much more menswear than womenswear lately, as what I've seen so far has left me very excited. The weather has been a complete b**ch! I haven't experienced such harsh freezing weather conditions in a long time, apart form that time where everyone (including me) got stranded in London with all the snow that blocked airports for days! It's been very difficult managing to look cool and not to freeze at the same time, so between shows I've kept it warmly cool with my new pair of super warm and cozy Koolaburra fringie booties that I found in a very cool online boutique called Capricho that finds and brings the customers all the hollywood celeb picks of the season. An interesting way to find out who had what and also been able to get hold of it over here in Europe! I'm quite excited because Capricho will also have from february onwards one of my favourite brands Chaser and the well known WildFox and during my shopping spree I even got myself a gorgeous J.J Winters fringe leather bag, which I'll be showing shortly! Just waiting for the opportunity to mix it with some cut out shorts as the weather isn't very helpful for any of my boho-looks at the moment :( . On the images taken near Porta Venezia here in Milan, I'm wearing a Zara poncho and jeans with RayBan METEOR sunnies and vintage furry hat.

I wanted to start the year with some snaps taken during Paris Fashion Week at the Loewe s/s12 show..(fabbbstastic!) at the same time i was getting snapped for Glamour Spain magazine (out now) when I met the gorgeous bodilicious Miranda Kerr. I had the honour of being invited to sit front row and share "table" with the Molina family and then we all, including Stuart Vevers (THE MAN!), went to Kaspia to enjoy a delicious dinner... the rest of the night with my bestie Michelle founder of Goldie London is a secret! (ha ha ha ha ha h aha).

Every christmas I share what i'd love to get if I could.. Well, the truth is that at the moment. there;s a lot of speculation towards if it could be our very last Christmas. For some, today 21st dec 2011 will start the count down for the so called End of the World, predicted by the calendar Maya, but dont be naive, I don't particularly like or feel the need to call it that way. The truth is, that the date is approaching and something it's gonna happen for sure. When I say something, I mean something MAJOR. I don't wan't to create polemic about the whole, already talked, topic but has been on my head for such long time that reaching the day of today in our calendar, made me feel the needed to share for the first time with you guys (my mates are already bored of my talking about this), that we should all be AWARE. Everyone should do what their guts, heart and head will tell them to do and respect the other's decisions to live this time and "the time" that is left as we please.. Enjoy and be thankful for probably the last 365 days on earth as we know it. Back to the present Christmas, as you know every year I create a wish list on my mind with the pieces of desire that I've been craving for the past six months and later on I pick my favourite item to share it here with my readers. Last year it was the Proenza Schouler bag but this time I've returned to opt for an emblematic Prada Saffiano Lux bag which seems so practical that I should start saving the pennies right now, cos I can see myself wearing this beauty for ages! What will you be asking Santa this year??

Back in London after a glorious week in Spain. Payed a visit to my galician hometown, to end up the week dj-ing at the event of the year, the 212VIP Carolina Herrera party-casting that took place yesterday in Madrid. After some delicious argentinian food and the visit of a very special person, i'm glad to be back home. And cannot wait to celebrate Christmas Eve! Have you chosen your presents already? I'm a bit lost and finding it a bit difficult, nowadays seems everyone has it all and to pick new exciting presents has become to most difficult thing ever! We all love online shopping, specially me. I´m really into finding out about new places where to find my "musts" and everytime i discover a new one i tend to call all my mates and share the secret info! So last week I found a spanish online store called Forumshop, that stocks clothes from some of my favourite brands such as Paul&Joe, vanessabruno, Manoush (I recently wore one of their dressed for a shooting), Twinset or Ash to name a few! The best bit is that it was extremelly easy for me to shop online and see all the product (I normally find this a bit confusing) because they create every season a ~~LookBook~~ to be able to see all the garments they sell featured in looks, and in two seconds i was going ga-ga for the Sonia by Sonia Rykiel boots, the fringy leather pants by Isabel Marant, a jumper from twenty8twelve or the new parfum from Comme des Garcons, but finally made up my mind and went for the gorge tailerd baggie wool trousers from Paul&Joe, combined with a Zara top and my brand new pair of Supergas (LOOOVEEE) and for the also Paul&Joe amazing big knitted jumper. A todos nos encanta eso de comprar por internet, y sobre todo porque recientemente y en estas fechas es lo mas comodo y fácil de hacer en vez de esperar imposibles colas y de nunca terminar de encontrar aquellos objetos que necesitas. Surfeando en internet, el otro dia encontré una de esas webs que son una joyita y que una vez la pruebas lo primero que quieres hacer es ir corriendo a contarselo a todas tu amigas, y así hice despues de descubrir que Forumshop cuenta con muchas de mis marcas favoritas como Twinset, Manoush, Paul&Joe, vansessabruno o Ash entre otras! Lo mejor de todo es lo fácil que es de ver el producto gracias a su ~~Lookbook~~ donde cada temporada te muestran las piezas mas interesantes que tienen. Despues de unos minuto yo ya estaba decidiendo que pedir, la cosa estaba dificil, desde las botitas de Sonia by Sonia Rykiel, los pantalones de flecos de Isabel Marant un jersey de twenty8twelve o un nuevo perfume de Commes des Garcons... al final y despues de mucho pensarmelo, lo que más necesitaba ahora mismo era algo para combatir el frio y me decidí por dos piezas de lana, unos pantalones super comodos de pinzas de Paul&Joe que he combinado con un top de Zara y mis nuevas Superga(las aaaamooo!!) y un jersey de la misma firma con vestido de algodón blanco y el nuevo modelo de RayBan METEOR!! Later on a few weeks ago I was also featured on Grazia magazine too, with a picture that Phill Taylor took of me took at my arrival to the show that day..(he has shoot me several times for the magazine before, so is no surprise bump into him snapping pics of the coolest cats at fashion events). Maktub... la pelicula de estas navidades!

Queria compartir este trailer con todos vosotros, porque me parece que algo maravilloso ha sucedido de la mano del cine. Tuve el placer de conocer el trabajo del director y productor Paco Arango, Maktub gracias a mi amiga y bloguera Vega el pasado mes de Octubre, cuando nos invito a mi y a un par de amigas cercanas a ver el pre-view de su ultima pelicula (o peliculon ) y del ambicioso y precioso proyecto que esta ha significado. Y con un reparto de excepcion!!!

Maktub cuenta la historia, basada en hechos reales, de un niño afectado por el cancer a traves de un precioso cuento navideño. A veces parece que esa palabra , cancer, es algo lejano y de la que nos podemos escapar, pero en realidad todos y mas que nunca en estas fechas, todos deberiamos estar mas concienciados que nunca. Yo por mi parte he hecho mis pequeñas aportaciones, como cuando colabore con SMODA en el shooting contra el cancer de mama, y desde luego no podia dejar pasar la oportunidad de compartir con todos vosotros que el proximod dia 15 de Diciembre, Maktub se estrena en el cine Capitol (Gran Via 41) y aun mejor! Se sortean invitaciones!! Todo el dinero recaudado se destinará a la construcción de una planta entera del Hospital Niño Jesús de Oncología para los niños enfermos de cáncer. Si teneis unos minutos echarle un vistazo al trailer y sobre todo a la magnifica labor que la Fundacion Aladina ha hecho junto al equipo de Maktub y de Paco.

Look of the Day.140: Creases and morning coffee

The last few days have been like dreaming with my eyes open. I love being back in London for way too many reasons, one of them is my dearest friends and everything that this city has to offer (for more info check my favorite spots in London in the guide I wrote for AbsolutModeSociety). I have travelled "quite a few" lately.. Seen so many places, cultures, landscapes and honestly, no place is like London. :) Anyway, going back to the main thing, with this cold weather all I wanted to do is curl up in bed watch dvd's and I have been a bit annoyed that I have to wear all the time 120 denier tights, but we still get one of those days were the sun shines and you can trot around the city with bare legs. I'm no particular fan of the so called "perfect look" as you might have seen, sporting perfectly ironed and clean cut tailored shirts, so making it a bit more me without looking like a tramp (which I still dig) I decided to stop ironing my cotton shirts for a more "casual and effortless" feeling and enjoying a crease here and there.

I remember perfectly this day. It was during New York Fashion Week, and the previous day I spent all afternoon trying on a thousand million pices at Karla Otto's office.. I didn't have a clue what to wear to the Oscar de la Renta and Theysken's Thory shows the following day. I was there with Michelle and when I tried on the Emilio Pucci top we both screamed at the very same time....OH MY LORD! That was the most beautiful, delicate piece i've ever worn... This pictures were taking after the beautiful Theysken's show by Backyard Bill for GQ USA, also the other pics are from Vogue USA and Refinery29.

15th Anniversary Uno de 50

If you follow me on Twitter you are probably updated about my travels... so you should already know that last thursday I was in Barcelona (awwww I loveee that city!!!) for a very special event! Uno de 50, the spanish ready-to-wear jewellery label was celebrating their 15th birthday! And I was invited to attend and spin some records amongst Simone in company of the best people in town. There was the beautiful Eva Gonzalez, my friend Neko, who runs the well known(and one of my favourite parties ever, Nasty Mondays), Ross, Ilduara, Oscar(from my agency), Joan, Quentin, Gabriela and Pablo(cutest couple ever) who came straight back from Boston to give their support!!! Gerard, who was taking all this wonderful pictures, and the whole team from Uno de 50. We enjoyed some yummy canapes and danced till midnight... after that we all headed to CupCake's(the little sister party of Nasty Mondays, which takes also place at Apolo). They asked us to choose and outfit for that night, and I went straight for this beauty from Jesus del Pozo(who recently sadly passed away) all paired with the most gorge red shoes in history! Last 11/11 I was celebrating the important date with my friends from the uber cool label Maguen 11:11 . We all gathered in a well known club of Madrid were The Jenifols dj-ed after the live show. All my good mates came to show their support, such as Pelayo, Miranda (with her dad Sergio Makaroff in the picture), Miki&Bilbo, Fidel,Victor, Gerard(icanteachyouhowtodoit.com) who took all this pictures during the night, and we had the best of times! I wanted to thank Vega (my fellow blogger friend) for being the perfect host and making the party happen and getting all those famous faces to come down for the event, and Jack (director of Maguen) for looking after us and choosing us to play once again for his party. Now and then I love sharing bits of my private life. Last thursday 20th of October I went back to my lovely Barcelona to attend as a vip guest, the Armani event. It was the new opening of their flagship store in Passeig de Gracia and me and my mates gathered together at Alma hotel (I got to stay in on of the most amazing suites ever...) We had our make up done by the Armani make up artists team (Remind me I must write a proper make-up post as I´m absolutely besoted after I´ve tried the Armani make up range..Just out of this world!!!) and to also have our hair done by the L´Oreal team...an absolute pampering day to remember. At the store were also many of my regular spanish fashion-scene mates, I got to catch up with bloggers like the beautiful Silvia from LadyAddict or even bump into Harper´s Bazaar Spain editor in chief Melania (picture below). Violet was performing live at the event (were I saw George and Pixie,who was performing). After that, we all headed to a secret spot to have dinner and continue the party. I wanted to thank all the Globally team for being so nice and looking after us so well and the Armani team who made me feel so special.

Last may I was asked by my friend Michelle Goldie to style and work with her doing the creative direction for her latest a/w 2011 collection, in order to show and share with the world her new designs which have a 70s inspired feeling, but where you can still find those preppy dresses from Goldie London that we all love so much! Here´s the result of a gorgeous day out in north east London were we shoot the campaign. After the Armani event in Barcelona last thursday i headed back home (England) to spend one of the best weekends down the english countryside, in a very long time, no phones or internet...it was so refreshing! I have now in my life everything I need. And feels like if I was literally glowing... of happiness of course! :)
This picture belongs to the photo diary I shoot with New York based english photographer Bill Gentle from Blackyard Bill. Each day during NYFW Bill will hunt me down in Manhattan or Brooklyn to snap me in the clothes I was wearing and then he'll post them on the GQ usa site among other 4 cool peeps. Back in Madrid for a few good reasons, shootings, work and events like the one I went to yesterday, the Dior party here in Madrid with Mirandita who rocked a gorgeous Nobody Knows pink bag by Pelayo Diaz and a Lydia Delgado's dress. Like always..surrounded by friends and collegues. I chose this amazing dress by Roberto Torretta(remember that I've attended his show during Madrid Fashion Week!) which I falled in love with since the very first time i layed my eyes on it... The best surprise of the day? When I discovered that I made to to the best dressed of the night and was featured on the main page of Spanish Vogue! well..that's some kind of big news!! Yayyyy! I'd like to thank Maria Torretta for helping me with this and believing i could actually pull if off specially after Carmen Kass wore it for their show!

PS. You probably know this if you follow me on Twitter but for the rest, you have by now noticed my hair is much shorter. Had it chopped last week at Salon44 by the best of the bests: Xavi Garcia. I decided to get rid of the endless hair but not do the overdone bob so i went back to the hairstyle i was sporting aged 13,which isn't long but short either! This length is much wearable and still wanted to keep it a bit messy rock-and-roller-hippie.

During MFW I had the pleasure to attend several wonderful shows.. and one of them was the Frankie Morello's s/s 2012, which showed a total italian craziness pieces full of vibrant colours,mini skirts, flashy toy cameras all mixed with heaps of fun! For the occasion I got to wear a complete look from their a/w 2011 runway show, even that it was a boiling hot day in Milan, that yellow skirt made me feel incredibly amazing, just if i came out of an old school movie! After the show we got to hang out at the backstage were we meet the designers,who were super nice and sweet... Last thursday I was in Madrid attending a gala dinner held by Vanity Fair which was celebrating "person of the year" at Museo de America. The winner was the incredible nobel price winner Mario Vargas Llosa. As it was a "proper" dinner I chose a beautiful a/w 2011 Gucci dress 2011 and sandals also from Gucci from the cruise collection.. During London Fashion Week I went to Antipodium's s/s show all clobbered up in the label a/w clothes and this was the result! Outside the shows at Somerset House I bumped into a few journalist and I found this video from BecauseMagazine online . Paris Paris Paris....the fashion week no one wants to miss!! This september I've had the honour and pleasure to be invited to the s/s 2012 catwalk show by one of my favourite designers, Elie Saab, the lebanese born designer who glorifyes women and injects beauty into women's lifes with designs that make all of us know that dreams actually become true!, were I got to snap some pictures of his latest s/s collection which was once again breathtaking. A Very 70s one indeed! (this is one of my favourite fashion periods of all times) . Floaty,embedded , buoyant organza dresses in silk were they keys pieces of the collection. The colour palette was simply gorgeous, lilacs, intense greens and oranges...Imagine how would you feel with one of those on, like a total goddess! Even that Elie, still keeps his studio in Beirut, works and showcasts his collections during Paris Fashion Week, and this year the label has also launched their sophisticated and delicious own scent "Le Parfum" which celebrates the splender and brightness of femmenininty. It was created by Francis Kurkdjian who used his own perception of the feminine sensation with touches of wood and flowers mixed with orange blossom. Este mes ha sido movidito y por varios motivos.. ya cuando pensaba que me habia "librado" de tener que ir a Paris..pam! ahi vamos de nuevo , mi quinta semana de la moda en menos de 20 dias... Pero esta vez la causa merecia la pena, la invitacion al maravilloso desfile del genio de la feminidad Elie Saab... Ese hombre que comprende tan bien, como Alber Elbaz, a las mujeres y que hace que te sientas como una diosa del olimpo con sus vestidos. Y la coleccion no fue para menos, con mucha transparencia y piernas largas como el mejor accesorio, una empiza a deprimirse de solo pensar que aun nos quedan casi 6 meses para poder disfrutar de todo esto de nuevo. Mezcla de mostazas, verdes y lilas que se fundian de una forma vaporosamente magica! A la vez que todo esto acontecia se lanzaba el nuevo perfume del disenhador, creado por el genio de los perfumes Francis Kurkdjian, el cual ha mezclado esencias de naranja con madera. After a short but possible one of the most glamorous weekends i´ve had in a long time in Paris.. i´m back in Madrid. I had the pleasure to be shooting for Glamour magazine (which won´t be published until later on this year) while attending Loewe´s magnificent show in the capital of Love!!! I´d like to thank to all the Loewe team , for always making me feel part of the family and looking after me so well. Also thanks to Le Grand Hotel, for making me feel like a superstar in one of the most amazing hotel rooms ive ever stayed on. tonight I´ll be attending the Cosmopolitan awards here in Madrid so I´ve got a busy afternoon choosing what and how to wear my outfit... but meanwhile I wanted to share some funny snaps of my time in Milan..trotting around the Duomo sporting the new "school-preppy" trend that everyone seems to be so fond of! NewYork fashion week has been an amazing week as it normally is. Hanging around with my gals Michelle and Rachel. Endless nights with Pedro Garcia's PR and "the" man in town Felix, Gabi Palatchi , Pablo and Pelayo. Meet up with fellow bloggers at the Tribeca Grand and saw old faces too at the Lincoln Centre. Highlights of the week: Shooting with Backyard Bill for GQ USA . Sunbathing at Soho House and going "gaga" with the new African inspired collections like the one Michael Kors presented this season. Rocking "school girl" Theory's skirts and shirts around New York who threw, for me,one of the best shows in town. Bumping into Rachel Zoe at Oscar de la Renta. Running into Cyril Foinet (Trendland) quite a few times during the party circuit. Raving with Alexander Wang at Pier 40. Catching up with the coolest people in LA and also my very adored friends, Morgan and Douglas!!! Eating thousand of burgers and fries: american style! in the middle of the night. Trotting around Brooklyn. Wearing an incredible Emilio Pucci sequence bodysuit while dancing at BoomBoom Room inside the glass toilets... New York I can't wait to be back with you!!!!

Davidelfin is more than a label, more than a name, more than a designer. David, the man himself, is also a wonderful creature and talented designer, a great person that I get to admire more and more over the years... His latest collection, "Katharsis" showed last saturday during CMFW has been my favourite one ever! The Louboutin shoes are just... like a princess dream.. David even described them as "mermaid shoes"! The best bit of this year's collection is that, for the very first time, my friend Pelayo has become part of the designing team, creating all the handbags for the show! I felt so proud for him! At the show was, my also friend, the designer Stuart Vevers (Loewe) who is always full of life and happiness and who just launched a new collaboration for his brand!

The Torretta family are simply wonderful, What can I say?? I know well how this works myself, my very own family has been working in the retail industry for over 30 years and I know what it is like from hte "backstage side"...and I felt that, the Torretta family shares the exact same connexion too! I love family gathering together! :) For their exquisite show they booked the top model Carmen Kass who opened and closed the show.. and check those long dresses..to DIE for!!!

OMG! That's all I can say...I need a break asap and still to go London and Milan!! BAHHHH!!! I've had the most hardcore three last days in history! Been living on a plane and sleeping a max of 3 hours each day! And hitting those vitamine -C sachets ain't a solution either! After I landed back in London from a hectic and fun week in New York, where these pictures where taken by my wonderful friend Rachel a.k.a hot mama at her West Village apartment were I creshed for a few days. On Friday I headed to Madrid Fashion Week as I've mentioned before...where I had a blast with my mates and attended a few shows too. Back in London today i managed to get back home have a quick shower and put myself together and even make it on time for TopShop's Unique show where I bumped into Carolina, Rumi and Susie. Later on I went to pay a lil visit to Blanaid at IPR to get my bits and bobs for tomorrow's show...and all I can say is... I need 3 days off and my bed!!! yayyyyyyy!!!!

VFNO Madrid 2011, Photocall. It's very awkward but for this edition of VFNO I've choosen a total look by italian designers!Wearing Gianbattista Valli dress, shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti and clutch by Nice Things.

Back in London after a wonderful and busy week down in New York. And i'm actually packing to head off for Madrid Fashion Week today!!! This has been my third year in a row at Madrid's VFNO! and as usually I always get to enjoy myself so much! :) At the vip lounge down in c/Serrano I bumped into loads of my friends and after arriving in a convertible Audi (courtesy of Vogue) I head to Nice Things (Argensola 3) with Pelayo meanwhile Miranda went to Suarez, both to start our dj sets! By the time we arrive to calle Argensola, there's already so many people waiting for me to start my set and I quickly go and change for a more comfy outfit, choosing a lovely mustard dress by Nice Things(I wanted to thank everyone at Nice Things, specially Aida for looking after me so well and making that night one of the best at vfno!)... Few minutes later my friend Pedro from Vogue.es (CLIK TO SEE THE VIDEO. minute 2.44) arrives to film me on a little interview for VFNO . I keept spinning the records till 12am meeting so many lovely people who came to say Hi! Also wanted to thank everyone who I met that night, you guys totally rock!!!! After that, all of us (including Paloma junior who is awesome!) went to Ramses where Mario Vaquerizo was dj-ing! It was a magical night...and I cannot wait for next year's to arrive!

My mate Michelle is back from China...and seems in the past few months we hardly have seen each other as much as we wanted (as I have myself, been down in Brazil for quite a while too). But now we are back together trotting around London and trying to sort out accommodation for New York during Fashion Week, (if anyone knows of a good place, suggestions are more than welcome!). Meantime I'm trying to find cool music to get ready my dj set, as i'll be attending and dj-ing during Madrid's Vogue Fashion Night Out (all details will be posted very soon!!!). This is what I wore yesterday for a shooting down in Chelsea, after that Michelle and I drove back to East London to grab lunch down in Shoreditch House eat french fries and catch up for a while. Pronovias - Bridal Fashion Week 2012

Last May i was invited to attend spanish Bridal Fashion Week held in Barcelona. I was hanging out with the super funny and wonderful Vega Royo who is also a fellow blogger! And got to meet wonderful girls such as Alejandra Rojas and the New York socialites Lauren and Ashley Remington Platt. The event was beyond what you could imagine, the queens of the catwalk were Ana Beatriz Barros and Karolina Kurkova, and the collection made me feel the pressure to get married as soon as possible! hahaha Just kidding...After the Pronovias fashion show we all girls headed to the after party where I ended up jumping and dancing like crazy with Gabriela Palatchi and her boyfriend (she's from the Pronovias family)...who was the best host ever! and I cannot wait to see her again in New York during fashion week. I wanted to thank Vega for the first image,who was posted on her blog and the PR team at Pronovias for the press images and all the help and support they gave us during our wonderful time in Barcelona.

My bestie Miranda is here in London with me to spend the summer like every year. Yesterday we had one of those grey and rainy sundays with nothing to...and after watching a trillion B movies we decided to play a bit of "How about you dress me up instead". The game consists in doing a total "make over" to the other person, in this case was Miranda's turn to dress me up however she wanted. And lately, she's been all over "cyberdog vs 90s neon-gothic" style...imagine my face....hahahaha, and here is the outcome... we decided to call it Lady Gala, for the iconic Formichetti's Gaga-outfits... and yes, i think we all should get out of our shells sometimes and try out new stuff, even if it doesn't really match with who we are...is good to see which other characters you could also be..specially from someone else's eyes...

I'm missing Sao Paulo like crazy. Ive been back in Europe for a week already, being a busy bee. This week seems to be a never ending one... I'm trying to get ready to jet off to New York for fashion week and also trying to sort out all my last minute work matters here in London. This pictures were taken by Felipe on a very hot day, and is no surprise for those who have followed me since the good old fotolog times, to see me barefoot. I love the feeling of the pavement under my feet when is hot out there... the floor is dry and cold and makes me feel so connected with everything else.. it's incredible! I wish i could do it all the time... I'm wearing jeans from Zara matched with an Osklen shirt and vintage hat, a fiji Monica Vinader brazalet.

Picture taken by GarotasEstupidas, Joyce Pascowitch magazine and other press at Sao Paulo Fashion Week. Last June I was back at the Bienal to attend Colcci's show with Felipe and it was pretty mental. Huge amount of press. They started the show almost 1 hour late (they said it's a normal thing as is the most waited show of them all, I even had time to bump into BryanBoy...) After the show we all stopped at bar Numero (a cool trendy spot that you wouldn't miss if you are in town) to grab a bite and headed to Colcci's after party. There was also HugoGloss, Alessandra Ambrosio, many other brazilian fashion celebs and even Ashton Kutcher who had previously walked the runway at their show. I'm wearing Goldie London jacket, Office shoes, TopShop hat and Style Stalker's dress, all paired with my newest favorite bag by Reiss .

This year I've been spending loads of time in Brasil. One of the big reasons for this are work commitments. You might already know what I've been up to..but for those who still don't follow my Twitter live, I wanted to share the latest job I did a few months ago and that is out now here in Brasil.

Guerreiro is a jewelry brand who I discovered while I was here and it was truly love at first sight. When they asked me to be the face of their latest campaign I felt very honored to do it as I love the boho spirit of the brand, and Guerreiro himself was like, from my point of view, the brazilian Jim Morrison back in the days...so imagine my face, I was in total heaven! I did two shootings, one for the main brand Guerreiro and another for their younger difusion line AG. During the shooting who took place on a sunday here in Sao Paulo at Valerio Trabanco's studio, I shoot with Rico Mansur, the well know brazilian polo player. I laughed and talked as much as I normally do...(those who have worked with me in the past know that I can't keep my mouth shout for too long) but it was all because I was ultra excited to be able to play and choose the garments for the shooting while I had my nails done more than 4 times, each of them painted with the new Chanel nail-polish(and i'm a total freak when it comes down to nails). The campaign is all over the pages of Vogue, Elle and other magazines in Brasil and also available in St.Tropez too. I wanted to make a special mention to Carmen ho was amazing during the whole process and the Guerreiro sisters who totally rock and do an incredible work!

Look of the Day.121: Real Parque @ Morumbi

Back in Sao Paulo...YES again! We spent the day at Real Parque in the Morumbi neighborhood, there's plenty of beautiful streets. One thing really annoys me is that that here in Brazil we are in the middle of the winter and I've carried from London all the way back to Brazil my fur coat, just to find out is 30 degrees celsius almost every day. All I've been able to manage to wear since i got here are tee-shirts and cut-out shorts like the classic Levi's ones. Tip! I normally carry a pair anywhere I go in the world and they are always so useful!. And of course.. some comfy but chunky heels like the new beauties on my feet, from spanish and worldwide known label Pedro Garcia. Another piece you must bring in your luggage is a little cape/poncho in soft fabric that will help you to get that boho look . My one is from Goldie London. My bangles are from an Indian shop down in Camden and the Hand of Fatima pendant is from an egyptian jewelry shop in London too. I'm carrying a Corello bag, 1971 Reiss sunnies and vintage hat bought in a flea market here in Sao Paulo. All images by F.Solari

Last 28th of June I was in Madrid for two big reasons. I was chosen to give one of the wards at the GQ Elegant Men of the Year and to attend the exclusive launch of the latest collaboration between our loved and talented friend Davidelfin and the Iberostar Hotels&Resorts chain. It felt like a friends reunion really, as I was there between so many familiar faces! We enjoyed some incredible yummy spanish tapas, and got to look around and admire the illustrations and pieces of this collaboration, dance a bit under Gerard's tunes (a.k.a IcanTeachYouhowToDoit) and to see David himself talking about the whole project! Here are the snaps and where i wanted to be very casual and comfortable in order to be with friends. But Always keeping that top button closed! :) And it was also a very important day, it was my friend Pelayo's birthday too!!!

Im so in love that I won't stop wearing them as they match with all my clothes and the rest of my jewellery ...I couldn't ask for more! Just got back to London after an incredible weekend in Ibiza, courtesy of Diesel who invited me to a very special and private dinner at Diesel Island in Talamanca, Ibiza where I met great people like the hilarious Aida who wore the gorgeous yellow Lavin x H&M dress and I got to party with Stefano Rosso himself, head of Strategic Brand Alliances and son of Renzo Rosso the founder of Diesel. (All pics to come) but meanwhile I wanted to share the images of the event I attended last week in Madrid. I was asked to give an award to Clemente Lequio at the GQ Elegant Men of the Year in partnership with Ermenegildo Zegna .The gala was held at the italian Embassy in Madrid and i meet up there with my friends Miranda, Pelayo, Davidelfin (who i saw the same morning at the Iberostar event) Inhigo and Quim(who won an award too). I was wearing a green black less dress I got in Sao Paulo matched with an incredible cassette inspired clutch from Chanel and Pedro Garcia sandals, my rings are by Sansoeurs and Monica Vinader.

We took these pictures last time I was in Sao Paulo down Vila Madalena, the coolest neighbourhood of the amazing brazilian city. I'm currently back in London since 2 hours ago and seems there's a million things to do and catch up with! The past week i've been down in Spain and I literally haven't stopped one second! From weddings in Galicia to presentations in Madrid where I was giving an award at the spanish GQ Awards Ceremony celebrated in the Italian Embassy (yes! what a night) I promise to give and share all the gossip and the pictures! Tomorrow is a very important day here in Madrid(yes I have been back in Europe for almost a week now)... and we are celebrating that, my dear and talented friend Davidelfin, has designed a unique collection of 15 outfits for the staff of the well known brand Iberostar Hotels & Resorts that will be launched in more than 15 countries worldwide where Iberostar has Hotels. This is an amazing and great opportunity where Davidelfin has kept the sould and its unique feeling in his designs to create these special and stylish uniforms that the Iberostar staff will be wearing from now on. I had the pleasure to interview David himself and ask him a few question about how the project was developed and how amazing the whole journey was too, and of course I wanted to share it with my dear readers as I will be tweeting live during the event held tomorrow here in Madrid, so remeber to follow me on Twitter if you wanna keep tuned and know all the gossip

Por ultimo, queria compartir con todos vosotros una pequeña entrevista que el mismo David me ha concedido en la que me ha contado como ha sido esta experiencia y cuales son los proximos planes de futuro...

Hablame un poco de cómo y cuándo surge esta colaboración... A mediados del 2010 se pusieron en contacto con nosotros y nos explicaron el proyecto. Querían decidir entre tres diseñadores. En nuestro primer encuentro, donde nos conocimos personalmente e hicimos una presentación sobre nuestra trayectoria, nos dimos cuenta de que había "química", y a la semana nos transmitieron su interés en trabajar con nosotros. El proyecto se fue definiendo y con el esquema de trabajo claro, firmamos el contrato en diciembre. Desde principio de año lo venimos desarrollado hasta ahora que ya podéis ver el resultado.
Alguna dificultad en el camino fue cuando... Debes adaptar los diseños a cada departamento atendiendo todas sus necesidades y conociendo las limitaciones.
Explicame cómo has conseguido reflejar los valores de Davidelfin en esta colaboración con Iberostar... A través de la construcción y los detalles de las prendas. El juego de apariencias forma parte de nuestra identidad. Estas prendas en una sola capa, suman las camisas a los chalecos, a las chaquetas... Prendas ligeras y libres de forros, hombreras y entretelas.
Si tuvieras que expresar en 3 palabras la experiencia en general, serian... Reto, trabajo y satisfacción.
Davidelfin en el futuro... Adaptación! ese es el futuro. A todos los cambios y novedades que se producen, para poder seguir trabajando en mis colecciones y colaborar con otros proyectos tan importantes e inspiradores como este.

Last may, I had the pleasure to be part of an almost family event..When I say "family" it's mainly because working with long-time friends seems no work to me, but pleasure and fun. The Jenifols dj-ed during the event before and after Mendetz played a little but cool gig in the middle of the Plaza de Lugo store. Pull&Bear was hosting an amazing event where all us us gathered together between friends and family, enjoying their new uber modern and cool 2.0 store in A Coruna (my hometown). After that we went to grab some delicious tapas and ended up the great night at Backstage the coolest bar in town.

Deadly Ponies and the Monster bag

2 Weeks already now since I've arrived in Sao Paulo...and I've been trying to keep a low profile.This past week had time to pop by Marcos Proenca's hair saloon for a quick fix(totally recomended!!!), time to attend Evoke's party where Marky Ramone was djing and even watch the first brazilian doc trying to legalize Maconha, "Quebrando o Tabu"....(pics coming soon) Anyway...here's my latest new creation. When I was for the last time down in Auckland, New Zealand. I meet up with Deadly Ponie's designer Liam. After talking for a while I came up with the ideo of creating a bag to match my needs as I'm a very practical woman. I've always loved the feeling of leather, and this is why 99% of my handbags are by brands suchs as Loewe and Mulberry. For me it's a quality matter. The older they get..the nicer they feel and the cooler they become too... and when I've explained Liam what I needed , he mention that it felt like "quite a lot going on" at first.. right there is where i got the idea for the name, "Monster" bag..cos in our heads it was going to look awfully tacky full of details and things going on. After a few more talks and enough time to think, with the precise measures I came up with the final rough design for The Monster bag. I've been back in Brazil for the past few weeks, catching up with my friends and attending some cool event that are always held in Sao Paulo. :) I wanted to share one of the campaigns I shoot during SPFW for the brazilian label Corello. It was great to be able to work with old friends like Hanneli who came for fashion week too, and to hang out with other fellow bloggers like Mariah and Camila... the creative director was the wonderful Alice Ferraz who put together the whole concept. It was a very hot summer day and I had the best of times hanging around the rest of the girls and having the pleasure to shoot at Jorge Elia's house(the architect) and honestly..that house is to die for!!! As usually i couldn't stop laughing under Jaques Dequeker's orders...who was shooting the campaign..I guess i get the giggles very easily and i always try to make work to feel like pleasure..and enjoy the experience! I wanted to give a special thanks to the wonderful Carol (owner of Corello) and her wonderful daughter Gabi.

During Madrid Fashion Week, there was a very important event happening at the OFF Cibeles, where my friend Miranda was presenting the project she's been working during the past months. For those who follow her blog, you know how much she loves expressing her feelings and ideas through paper..she loves to draw her incredible adventures and share her fantasies with the rest of us, and this time she wanted to do somehow the same thing but working with her mom Lydia Delgado,which is also a wonderful fashion designer, so she created a knitwear collection where the "Miranda spirit" was splashed everywhere, under the name of "Le Caniche"... and all of her friends came to support her on such an important day. We danced under Natalia Ferviu's brazilian playlist (which made me incredible happy) and ended having the best of times! It was a proper family event :) . To end the night we went to see El Guincho play ... and dance till the sunrise!

Few weeks ago, The Jenifols had the pleasure to attend, and dj at the launch of the new spanish label MAGUEN 11:11. Loads of our mates came to give their support at the event that was held at their brand new shop which is based in barrio Salamanca,Madrid. The store has an exquisite decoration that tries to transport costumers to the big apple. The menswear collection is inspired in the characteristic style that you often see while taking a walk around the Upper East Side, the Hamptons or the West Village. The whole concept comes from the creative director of the label, Gala Canut, which perception of her time living and studying in New York has been a big influence for the brand with also very affordable prices! And for those wondering, yes! we did spend quite a while talking about how awkward is for both to have such an unsual name both working in the same industry, and we got to the conclusion that Gala seems to be a great name to have! ha ha ha. I'm wearing dress and bag by Chanel, shoes limited edition Davidelfin for Louboutin.

Last january we were asked to be part of the biggest calendar of our mother country, the Larios calendar which is one of those things that everyone loves being part of ... This year Larios decided to swap the calendar pictures for digital videos.. under Lois and Ivan's direction we filmed in London our short movie who was presented under the month of February. Also, the past 21st of February we went to La Casa de Vacas, in Madrid to attend the premier of all the short movies of this year's Larios calendar and to enjoy the great after party which is aways held right after Madrid fashion week and that we already regulars to. I got to wear for the very first time a whole Chanel outfit, and you guys know how restricted the Chanel house is when they lend stuff to people...so I felt thrilled and honoured when Paris approved me to wear their label..(dreams come true!). The thing is... I always try to be truthful to my own style and the last thing I ever want to is to end up showing too much flesh or looking tacky, so i choose a classic little tweed LBD...because, less is always more, and legs are always a winner! To give it that special touch I paired the dress with a gorgeous pair of Louboutin shoes by Davidelfin, result? We danced, laughed with our friends and enjoyed great G&T's!!!! Here is a little interview I did for the occasion for VOGUE spain.

If i'm proud and happy of something i've discovered during the past months is of having such great friends like my aussie mates! I truly miss them ..but now that I have Rachel here with me I feel i have a bit of Sydney here with me (he he h ehe). Last september I shoot this editorial for australian Marie Claire, where I got to play and mix&match my own outfits for the magazine... it was a hot sumer day and I've just landed from Auckland... this is the result in their latest april Issue.. :)
